Fourth grade students are showing their talents as they move deeper into their understanding of string instruments. All students can now play the D Major scale and are developing beautiful technique and hand position. In our lessons this week, the fourth graders have been sharing individually. We are playing familiar tunes that include Hot Cross Buns, Au Clair De La Lune, Mozart Melody, and Ode To Joy! Many students are beginning to work ahead in their method books on songs that capture their interest. Below are a few photos of the fourth grade demonstrating their playing technique.
