Parent Program, "What Color Am I?: Tips on talking to your kids about race"

How to Have a Conversation about Race with your Kids
April 27th at 7pm in the Faulkner Reading Room

Join the All Voices Family Alliance for an evening program that will focus on how to talk to your kids about race.  The conversation will be led by our Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Toni Graves Williamson and Education Consultant, Ali Michael.  Ali is the Director of Professional Development for the Center for the Study of Race and Equity in Education at the University of Pennsylvania.  Ali has worked with teachers from all divisions at AFS.

We will focus on developmentally appropriate ways to engage in meaningful dialogue with your children.  Please email twilliamson@abingtonfriends.net if you need childcare.

The evening will include information that will help your family no matter your child’s race or age.
