A great interest to learn more about Spanish-speaking
countries prompted the fourth graders to redesign a game that was played in the
previous years by Lower School students, families and friends. During our most previous
assembly, the fourth graders introduced to the Lower School community the newly
revamped game. ¿Dónde vamos hoy?
(Where are we going today?) is a game that requires people to figure out the
mystery Spanish speaking country through a series of clues.
Each fourth grader has chosen a country to research. They determine what are the best possible facts about that country to present to the Lower School. Before each assembly, one country is chosen and the
fourth grade students state the clues, in English and Spanish, to our
Lower School community.
Students, families and friends are invited to guess the name of the country by filling out a form and slipping it in a box located in Alicia’s classroom, room #9. During the following assembly, the name of the country will be announced.
