Field Day! (T-Shirt orders DUE Friday, 10/3 by 10 a.m.)

On what is usually a glorious fall day, all students in grades K and older gather on Smith Field, located behind Upper School, and participate in Field Day.  Field Day is a day that celebrates teamwork, good sportsmanship and the thrill of participating in outdoor games.  Students engage in a wide variety of relays and activities that employ skills connected to the Physical Education curriculum.

Families are invited to cheer on their children as part of the day's festivities.  A picnic lunch is provided to students in grades K - 4 free of charge, no meal plan required.  At 1:00 the games begin.  Students are on either the blue or white team; most wear shirts reflecting their team's color.  Until Friday, 10/3 at 10:00 a.m., the junior class will be selling special Field Day shirts as a fundraiser for prom.  Field day concludes with celebratory water ice served in the classrooms.

Get ready for October 9th -- Field Day!
