A Morning in Kindergarten

Kindergarten mornings are a time of great exploration and great learning.  

Here's a sample of a recent morning! 

We used our wooden letter blocks to practice letter formation.

We had a fire drill!

We read a book about our sense of touch, and then played the mystery box game.

We had math with Jeanne, and practiced adding, sequencing, and number formation.

We practiced our soccer skills in gym.

We met Susan, a language arts specialist who works with Montgomery County schools.  She will come into our classroom twice a week to do fun literacy activities with us.

And this was all before lunch!!!
