Kindness Rocks!
Please come join us for a special morning of art-making in the Lower School. The Kindness Rocks Project is a world-wide communal art project in which participants decorate small rocks with messages of kindness and leave them out in the world for others to find.
The Kindness Rocks project was introduced to the lower school students during an assembly, when we viewed a video of the Kindness Rocks Project founder Megan Murphy. In the video Megan shared that she found herself taking walks pondering life and looking for signs in the rocks she found on the beach. One day, inspiration struck and she started writing messages of encouragement and support on the rocks she found, and left them for others to find. Megan says, "Just one message at the right moment can change your whole day, outlook and life."
The Lower School students will be making Kindness Rocks with their cross-grade Meeting for Worship partners, and family and community members.
