The first few days of school have flown by, and we are settling into our routines. Walking through Lower School, we've had the opportunity to witness many "firsts." Fourth graders proudly left school carrying their violins and violas for the first time. Second graders experienced writing their first edition of Weekend News. First graders enjoyed their first chapter book of the year. Third graders had their first lesson in reading music. Kindergarteners enjoyed their first science class. Owls enjoyed their first art class. Catbirds embarked on their first outdoor adventure, and Cardinals wrote in their journals for the first time.
We are so happy to be introducing the first entries on our Lower School blog. The blog will be updated twice a week and will be the place where you can find all sorts of helpful information.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 18th at 6:30 for Back to School Night in the Faulkner (US/MS) Library. Happy first full week of school!
