Friends Helping Friends

This week our 4th graders partnered with the 1st graders to leave a positive message for members in our Philadelphia community.  The students worked together to create cards for two tremendous organizations.  Groups discussed the best ways to help lift people who are in challenging situations.  We then put these ideas to paper in the form of drawings, positive words, and letters.  

The Whosoever Gospel Mission is nonprofit 
organization whose purpose is to provide 
shelter, food, clothing, education, counseling, rehabilitation and other assistance to homeless and/or needy men, women and children in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area.







Pickleberry Pie Hospital Concerts for Kids uses the healing power of music to help kids feel like kids again!  They bring professional musicians into hospitals and other institutions to work directly with kids, bringing joy and comfort.
