STEAM Night 2017

Thank you for joining us for STEAM Night 2017! On Thursday night, fun was had by old and young alike, as they explored topics relating to the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math curriculum in the AFS lower school. Activities ranging from printmaking to coding to bridge building and measuring in cubits brought the halls of the lower school to life. Visitors engaged in many design challenges, using their inventiveness and creativity to solve problems, and families admired the hard work and creativity of their children while viewing displays of their work from throughout the year.

Thank you to our parent volunteers for coming out and sharing their expertise, and demonstrating how STEAM skills are applied in their careers. (Have something you think you'd like to share next year? Please let Rasheeda and Amanda know - we love our family volunteers!)
