Exploring the World

After a very successful "Egypt Night" with families just before spring break, second graders have now embarked on a new exploration!  Using globes, atlases and maps, the students are learning about the continents and oceans that make up our world.

This geography work will lead into more focused country studies that connect with the "How and Why" stories we are reading together.  We have read stories from nearly every continent, with one exception.  Ask any second grader to tell you which one is NOT included and why!
