At Meeting for Worship on Wednesday morning, we shared a story together called All Are Welcome. As we listened to the story, we reflected on the words and thought about what it means to be welcoming and how it feels to be welcomed.
As a school, this year we are focusing on Radical Welcoming, Radical Reflection and Radical Restoration. In Lower School these themes come to life in many ways. As we complete the month of September, we have been focused on Radical Welcoming. We have worked to make connections, build community, open our hearts to one another, and share about ourselves.
The book All Are Welcome is a beautiful text that drew us together on Wednesday, engaged us in reflection and helped us contemplate the ways in which we can help others feel welcome. To hear the story click on the link!
